Every student is held to the global professional standard in todays workforce in every class. Full Sail has won various accolades and can be found here http://www.fullsail.edu/about/accolades

These are only some examples of what classes Chris Vizcarra has been thoroughly trained hands on were:

Audio Arts in the Entertainment and Media Industry - As a musician and music producer It’s important to stay up to date with any changes in the industry to better serve others. I gained a thorough understanding of many areas in the entertainment & media industry, some examples include but are not limited to: Music in general, Interactive Media, Interactive Audio, Business, and Copyright law.

Audio Workstations - There are many aspects to learn when working on a digital audio workstation. No two workstations are ever the same, many have different characteristics, some are meant for specific purposes, while others are very versatile. With the swift advancements in technology every year, the versatility of the workstations immensely grow, as a result It’s a never ending learning process. I’ve learned to operate on various digital audio workstations of many sizes and my two default DAW software I utilize are Pro Tools 12 and Logic Pro X.

Digital Recording Principles - Technology and software have created a nice revolution in the entertainment industry. When it comes to the recording process and what is being recorded, It's very important to know the fundamentals of recording. With the best technology at my hands I can achieve high-quality and professional sounding results economically without the need of a large studio.

Advanced Audio Production Techniques - Understanding how to operate a digital audio workstation is not enough. As they each are different in there own respective way, I had to learn the characteristics and advantages of the workstation that I’d be using. Regardless of the digital audio workstation being used, understanding how I would approach a recording or mix is vital. There are numerous techniques that are to be applied to help bring out the best of a music genre, instruments used, and the voice of an individual. I had to understand the sonic differences in sound to be able to apply such techniques and balance the audio as best as possible.

Sequencing Technology - Having a firm understanding on operating DAW (Digital Audio Workstations) I had to understand how MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) works and is utilized. MIDI is a communication tool utilized to synchronize many instruments and change specific parameters chosen. MIDI is not only limited to helping record music inside a studio, It has been useful in live concerts, concert lighting, animatronics, industrial audio, theaters, and even video playback systems.

Music Theory I - What sets a good musician & music producer apart from other musician and music producers who just operate the technology and software is the ability to learn and memorize the basics of the language of music visually as well as by aurally. Learning to read and play music helps make learning chords, triads, intervals, major and minor scales much easier. Above all learning music theory has many benefits, but one of the biggest improvements is enhanced my creativity and passion in everything I do. Being able to share the language of music theory with other talented individuals is a way to increase creativity and productivity as well.

Advanced Music Theory - The advanced music theory course builds upon the basic foundation of what was learned in music theory. Some examples include seventh chords, relatives of major and minor scales, and so forth. Being trained in the Classical and Baroque era of music helps with the composing process in music. Some examples of songs in which I learned to play are from Handel, Alessandro & Domenico Scarlatti, Bach, Mozart, Vivaldi.
